Dr. Paul Lubienecki has written two book-length works published by Edwin Mellen Press. Together they represent the two primary research threads in his scholarship: the American Catholic labor school movement and the architectural heritage of Frank Lloyd Wright's Graycliff.
The Americanization of Lay Catholics on Organized Labor (2023)
Published in 2023 by Edwin Mellen Press, this monograph examines how Catholic laity used labor schools as a "via media" — blending Catholic social doctrine with American pragmatism to make working-class Catholics central to organized labor in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The book was announced by the Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism at the University of Notre Dame.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Graycliff: Architecture as Sacred Space (2017)
This second edition, updated and revised, grew from Dr. Lubienecki's master's thesis at Buffalo State College and was published to coincide with the 150th anniversary of Frank Lloyd Wright's birth. It explores the spiritual dimensions of Wright's design for the Graycliff estate on Lake Erie and traces the role of the Piarist Fathers in preserving and restoring the property.
